The Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW) is co-chaired by OCHA and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). Gathering participants from the UN, NGOs, member states, the private sector, the military, academia and beyond, it provides a forum for humanitarian networks and partners to meet and address key humanitarian issues. During the week, networks and partners hold their annual meetings and consultations, share their expertise and collaborate on best practices to address shared problems.
To operationalise the Global Alliance for Urban Crises’ commitments, the Alliance Working Groups have been developing a series of knowledge products that will be key steps in driving an agenda for change. JIPS substantially contributed to two of these products, which will be officially launched at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW):

The Expert Group on Refugee and IDP Statistics (EGRIS) will be holding its all members meeting to monitor progress towards final international recommendations on statistics of IDPs, as well as a compilers manual for statistics on both refugees and internally displaced persons.
